FancyCafe AI is committed to fair, transparent, and predictable video generation. Because high-resolution AI video rendering consumes non-recoverable GPU compute, we do not provide unconditional cash refunds for videos that have already rendered successfully.

To eliminate buyer hesitation while protecting system integrity, we enforce two consumer-first safeguards:

1. Pre-Purchase Photo Quality Check: Free pre-flight analysis of your photos before you spend any credits, validating lighting, camera angles, and facial occlusion.
2. Automated Credit Protection: If a render fails, for example because of a model interruption or a timeout, the credit it used is returned to your account balance automatically.

AI video synthesis relies heavily on the clarity and geometry of the source portraits. To prevent wasted credits, FancyCafe AI provides a free, client-side photo quality pre-check before generation begins:

• Lighting and exposure: Detects extreme backlighting, excessive shadows, and underexposed faces that would cause rendering artifacts.
• Camera angle and pose: Verifies that faces are front-facing or within a natural tilt angle (less than 30°), filtering out extreme profiles.
• Facial occlusion: Flags obstructions including sunglasses, heavy fringe covering the eyes, face masks, scarves, or hands covering facial landmarks.
• Resolution and clarity: Ensures the source image has sufficient pixel density (minimum 320px on the shortest edge) to preserve recognizable likeness.

If the checker flags an issue, you receive immediate feedback and the opportunity to upload a better photo without deducting credits or requiring payment.

2. Automated credit refunds for technical failures

If a generation task fails due to an internal server error, GPU infrastructure interruption, a render timeout, or an automated safety moderation rejection, the credit is automatically returned to your balance.

• No manual tickets required: You do not need to contact customer support to recover credits from technical render failures.
• Available again: The returned credit is back in your account, so you can retry with the same or an alternative photo.
• Network drop protection: Repeated polling, interrupted browser sessions, or re-downloading an existing video will never deduct an additional allowance.

3. 7-day cash refund policy for unused packages

You may request a 100% cash refund for your first paid package under the following strict conditions:

• The refund request is made within 7 calendar days of the original transaction date.
• Zero video allowances have been consumed from that package. If even one allowance has been used to generate or attempt a completed video, the entire package is ineligible for a cash refund.
• Cash refunds apply only to your first purchase. Subsequent package purchases are final.
• We do not offer pro-rated refunds on partially used packages. Any unused credits from a partially consumed package remain in your account balance and never expire.
• Referral points and credits earned from referrals are not refundable.

How cash refunds are processed

Send your original Stripe receipt or order number along with your registered account email to support@firsttimeinafancycafe.video. Do not disclose credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank or credit card issuer, the refunded funds typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days. This policy does not waive or limit statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable local laws.

4. Zero hidden fees and no subscriptions

FancyCafe AI operates exclusively on transparent, one-time credit packages:

• $9.99 for 1 video
• $19.90 for 3 videos
• $29.90 for 5 videos

Visitors in the euro area are charged the same amounts in euros (€9.99, €19.90, €29.90), chosen from their location.

We do not run recurring subscription plans, monthly auto-renewals, or hidden maintenance charges. Every credit purchased is yours until used.

Can I get a cash refund if I do not like the completed video?

No. Once a video renders successfully, the high-performance GPU compute has already been consumed. We do not provide cash refunds for subjective aesthetic taste or comedic caricature preference. Use the free automatic photo check before you press Create.

How does the free pre-purchase photo quality check work?

Before any video credits are debited, our browser-based pre-flight tool scans your uploaded photos for adequate lighting, frontal camera angle, minimum resolution (320px+), and unobstructed facial features (no sunglasses, heavy shadows, or face masks). This helps you adjust your photo beforehand to ensure a great result.

What happens if the video generation fails technically?

If your render fails, the consumed credit is automatically returned to your account balance. You can retry with a different photo without contacting support.

How do I request a full cash refund on an unused credit pack?

If you have not used any credits from your first paid package and it is within 7 days of purchase, send your order number and registered account email to support@firsttimeinafancycafe.video. We will review the ledger and process a 100% refund via Stripe to your original payment method.

Are FancyCafe AI packages recurring subscriptions?

No. All FancyCafe AI credit packs are strictly one-time payments ($9.99, $19.90, or $29.90). You will never be enrolled in an auto-renewing subscription or charged recurring monthly fees, and purchased credits never expire.
